This is a 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari that will take you on a safari to Lake Manyara National Park, which is found in Tanzania, famous for sheltering the tree-climbing lions and flamingos. At this National Park, you will have activities like game drives where you will spot wildlife species, and then head to Serengeti National Park to also make sightings of wildlife. You will end the Tanzania safari with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend into the crater to have views of the big five and many more animal species. The guide will then transfer you back to Arusha.

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive
On the 1st day of the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will be picked from a hotel in Arusha by our representative guide. The guide will first inform you about the details of the 5 days safari, and then you will start the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. You will arrive in the afternoon, have lunch at the lodge and then go for an afternoon game drive.
The afternoon game drive will begin at 3 pm and it will end at 6 pm, which means it will last for about 3 hours. You will spot several animal and bird species. The guide will then transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s stay.

Day 2:Full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park
On the 2nd day of the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will have breakfast at the lodge, and then you will be given a packed lunch at the lodge. The guide will then come pick you from the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed about how the full-day game drive in Lake Manyara is done and how you are supposed to behave. You will then start the game drive with the guide. You will start the search for wildlife in this park, and after several sightings, you will have a break for lunch and relaxation.
You will continue in the afternoon with the game drive, and you are most likely to make more sightings of animals and birds since the temperatures will be cool in the afternoon, hence spotting the wildlife resting under shades, for example, the tree-climbing lions. You will then be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive
On the 3rd day of the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will have breakfast in the morning, and then the guide will pick you up from the lodge after checking out. The guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park, where you will immediately check into a lodge upon arrival. You will then have lunch at the lodge.
The guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you on an afternoon game drive that will take about 4 hours. You will have encounters with various wildlife species, including rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, lions, gazelles, wildebeests, zebras and many more. The guide will take you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
On the 4th day of the 5 days Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will have breakfast, and then the guide will take you for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This park is a haven for all the big five animals, and therefore, you will have the chance to spot all of them during the morning game drive. You will also spot other animals apart from the big five and a variety of birds. The guide will then transfer you back to the lodge for lunch.
When you are done with lunch, you will check out of the lodge, and the guide will transfer you to Ngorongoro, where you will check into a lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer back to Arusha
On the last day of the lodge days, Manyara and Serengeti safari, you will be served breakfast, and then the guide will transfer you from the lodge and take you for an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into the crater, and you will start the game drive that will last for about 3 to 4 hours.
You will have the chance to glance at the big five while on this crater, and the big five include the lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffaloes. You will also spot other animals like zebras, gazelles, wildebeests and many more. You will be transferred back to the lodge for lunch.
After having lunch, you will check out of the lodge, and the guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at a hotel.
