For night game drives, East African citizen belo5the age of 5 participate for free, those between the age of 5 to fifteen pay 5000kshs and those of 16 years and above pay 10000kshs. For non East African citizens, those of 16 years and above pay 50 US dollars, those of years to 15 years pay 25 US dollars and those below five years participate for free. For expatriates, those below five years participate for free, those between the age of 5 to 15 years pay 25 US dollars and those between the age of 16 and above pay 50 US dollars.
The game drives in tarangire national park are done in shifts of which some ate done in the morning, afternoon, evening and the night. The morning and night time are considered as the most favorable time to see a number of wildlife when on a game drive. The morning game drives starts at 6am, the afternoon at 1pm,the evening at 4pm and the night game drive at 6pm.
The night game is rarely conducted by visitors who visit this national park. Before visitors set off for their fame drives. They are briefed at the park headquarters about the do’s and don’ts while on a game drive and after they are escorted with an experienced tour guide and it is advisable for the guide to be armed fir safety purposes.
