This is a 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek that gives you a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s beautiful ecosystems, and you get to engage in a hike through the lush rainforests and moorland zones with views of primates and various wildlife sights. You will get to Mandara hut from Marangu gate on the first day of the 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, and you will experience a lot of wonderful and exciting views with a night stay at Mandara hut. You will proceed to Horombo hut on day 2 of the trek, and the night will be spent at Horombo hut and finally descend from Horombo hut to Marangu gate on day 3. Day 1: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Marangu gate for a hike to Mandara hut
On day 1 of the 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, you will be met by a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel after having breakfast at a hotel in Arusha. You will get time to interact and share information about the 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek. The guide will then transfer you from the hotel after checking out and drive you to Marangu gate. After briefing and acquiring the necessities for a hike to Mandara hut, you will then start the trek.
The hike to Mandara hut will take you about 3 to 4 hours, depending on your level of fitness. It is 2700 meters above sea level. Along the way to the Mandara hut, you will have views of the lush rainforests and get to see primates like the blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, among others. You will have a stop to have your packed lunch. The hike will expose you to nature and wildlife experiences, where you will also spot some birds. You will hike to the Maundi crater for beautiful sights of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will have your dinner in the evening, at then you rest.

Day 2: Proceed from Mandara hut to Horombo hut
On day 2 of the 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, you will be provided an early morning breakfast at Mandara hut, and thereafter, the guide will direct you to where you will start the hike to Horombo hut, which will take you approximately 5 to 6 hours. The hike will give you exciting sights of the moorland zones. You will also have a glimpse of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. You will have a lunch break.
There will also be an opportunity to engage in the acclimatisation hike to the Zebra rocks while on a Tanzania Safari for your body to get used to high altitude. You will then head for dinner at Horombo hut, where you will spend the night after getting done with dinner.

Day 3: Descend from Horombo hut to Marangu gate
On day 3 of the 3 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, you will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast, you will then descend from Horombo hut to Marangu gate, starting at an altitude of 3720 meters. This will take you about 6 hours and you will go through the open moorland zones, lush rainforests and also have views of wildlife on your way back to Marangu gate. You will have a stopover at Mandara hut for lunch and then proceed to Marangu gate. When you get to the gate, you will acquire certificates, and the guide will drive you from there back to Arusha.
You will have a brief visit to the Arusha central market, where you will learn about the Masai culture and also get to interact with the locals in the market. You will get the chance to purchase some goods in this market like the fruits, clothes, baskets, crafts and many more. You will get yourself souvenirs, and then the guide will transfer you to a hotel in Arusha or drive you to Kilimanjaro Airport for a flight.
