Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive
On the first day of the 2 days Tarangire and Lake Manyara safari, a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet you at the hotel in Arusha, and you will exchange greetings before you go through the safari details. After getting the knowledge about this Tanzania safari, you will set off to Tarangire National Park. This will take you about 2 hours to get to the park, where you will be served lunch after checking into a lodge.
After the lunch, you will relax and then set off for an afternoon game drive when the weather is cool. You will be able to spot elephants that you will see in herds, buffalo, gazelles, leopards, zebras, and many more. You will also spot birds like the ashy starlings, wattle eye, bush shrike, bustard, painted snipe, mousebird, red and yellow barbets, and necked weaver, among others. You will be taken back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and depart for Arusha
On the last day of the 2 days Tarangire and Lake Manyara safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and then check out of the lodge. The guide will then transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park with a stopover at Mto Wa Mbu for a cultural experience. At this place, you will learn about the culture and traditions of the variety of tribes that reside here and also get to visit the markets for views of various crafts. You will have lunch and then proceed to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive.
The afternoon game drive will reward you with sights of animals like the tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and various bird species, including the flamingos, crowned eagles, pelicans, storks and many more. The afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara takes about 3 hours, and after conducting it, you will be transferred back to Arusha.
